Many Moroccan social media users were furious about a live broadcast video. They made sure to fully share and circulated it until it reached the authorities in Morocco. The dancer Houyam appeared screaming hysterically at her daughter, swearing and calling her vulgar names. 
Houyam said in the video, (I never imagined such a ridiculous thing that I would translate Darija (Moroccan Dialect) into English. Still, as they say in America, “It is what it is”). She said, “Whoever wants to rape my daughter can do so, and I will not interfere from now on.”
The dancer also threatened to kill or slaughter her daughter or leave her and go to the Gulf countries (where there’s a massive community of Moroccan girls already suffering from a bad reputation) to engage in prostitution and devote herself to drugs and drinking.
The video sparked widespread anger among Moroccans, who demanded the intervention of security services and human rights associations to protect the girl from her mother.
Moroccan authorities arrested the dancer Houyam in response to the anger of the Moroccan streets against her after she threatened her child with death and slaughter and called for her to be raped explicitly. Waiting for this Moroccan dancer to come back to her senses, the Moroccan Drama continues…
