Rapper Don Bigg’s Angriness About The Moroccan Government

Moroccan rapper Taoufik Hazib, alias Don Bigg

A group of Moroccan stars broke their silence and expressed their dissatisfaction with the government's decision, which was issued about the new preventive measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. Morocco, like many countries in Africa, grapples with a crippling new wave of COVID-19.

Among the artists who criticized the return of the strict measures, the Moroccan rapper who I already interviewed in Morocco for Alarabiya News English:
Moroccan rapper Taoufik Hazib, alias Don Bigg took to Instagram to express his anger about the Moroccan government's constantly changing restrictions: Opening and closing the borders, changing the curfews frequently, and a ban on travel to and from the biggest cities in Morocco.
Here's an English translation of his message:

"A political party's gathering: NO problem.
A few alcoholic drinks in a bar: NO problem.
Suntanning on the beach: NO problem.
Vaccination centers packed with people shoulder to shoulder: NO problem.
Browsing malls until 8 pm: NO problem.
Marjane supermarkets and shopping centers stuffed with people: NO problem.
Meanwhile, one should not work out, travel to another city, or go to Hammam. These are the "right" decisions of the government.
We are fed up with these measures. Open gyms, close gyms! Open Hammam, close Hammam! You took it too far. Our people have not suffered from Coronavirus as much as they suffered from frustration."
While Don Bigg's message goes viral in Morocco and people are waiting to see if Covid-19 will turn out any better in Morocco, Moroccan Drama continues…
