Moroccan Man Killed His Mother with a TV Cable in Meknes
A few weeks ago, a Moroccan beheaded his mother and walked with her head through the streets of Casablanca as if we were in the Taliban's land, very trendy right now as everybody's talking about Afghanistan worldwide. In the same week, but another Moroccan city, Meknes, another young man killed his mother, a seventy-year-old woman, which caused an uproar on social media.
Meknes is located in the northeast of Morocco, 140 kilometers from the capital, Rabat, and is well known for its many historical monuments that draw tourists to the city. The huge Bab al-Mansour is the most important one, the most well-preserved and beautiful historical landmark of the town whose name became popular due to the mosaic inscriptions.
This young man decided not to sever her head but to suffocate her with a television cable, poor woman. I can't even imagine her last moments on the earth seeing her own son, who used to live in Spain would come back home and end up strangling her with a television cable. I am wondering which syndrome hit these guys, certainly a strong one.
In a video published by a local channel on Facebook, some of the victim's neighbors said that her son is in his forties and has psychological disorders. At the same time, some called on the official authorities to take care of people with psychological problems by increasing mental health hospitals.
While I wish from the bottom of my heart that these killings of moms stop, Moroccan Drama continues…
