One of the weirdest stories I’ve read lately is about a brother and sister, 21 and 17 years old, respectively, from a rural area in Morocco (the prefecture of Inzegane-Aït Melloul) who took the idea of brotherly love to the next level by having a sexual relationship with each other. Believe it or not, this isn’t the shocking part, especially with the huge number of incest-related articles published by Moroccan media lately.

It’s didn’t take long for not only the whole city of Nador to talk about it, but the whole of Morocco got ahold of it, especially when people discovered that the underage boy was none other than her son. Not only was she filming a sex tape and showing her face, which are both taboos in Morocco, but to top it all off, she was ordering her son not to stop and continue filming his abuse

A sex scandal has turned into a tragedy filmed live on Whatsapp, which most Moroccans use daily to exchange all of these kinds of scandals. So while I am wondering which one will be next, the Moroccan drama continues…
